We’d love to have you join us on the lawn at Bidermann for dinner and drinks at 5:30PM!\nCancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE) is announcing our annual Dickie DiSabatino Golf & Tennis Classic! To be held on Monday\, July 20th\, 2026 at Bidermann Golf Course and Vicmead Hunt Club\, this event is our largest annual fundraiser. This would not be possible without the help of founder and namesake Richard “Dickie” P. DiSabatino\, Sr.\, who first became involved with CSCDE when his wife Barbara was diagnosed with cancer. Dickie’s inaugural golf outing in 1995\, mind for business\, and gracious heart were vital to the official opening of CSCDE facilities in Wilmington\, DE in 1996. \nFondly known as “The Dickie”\, the outing includes a day of golf or tennis\, fellowship and fun. Upon arrival guests enjoy a delicious lunch followed by an 18-hole shamble. Golfers can test their skills at various contests including: Putting\, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. \nPrefer tennis instead of golf? Play tennis at Vicmead Hunt Club! Sign up to play a round robin led by Vicmead’s tennis pro. After golf and tennis end… \nCocktails and Dinner on the Course – Players and their guests enjoy dinner\, open bar\, silent and live auctions. The best part of the day? See you on June 13th!\nPlease join us on Saturday\, June 13th\, 2026 9am-12pm for our  Annual Wings of Hope at Milton Memorial Park with emcee Leah Rizzo from CoastTV and DelmarvaLife! \n2026 Wings of Hope Event Details\nFREE Family- Friendly Event / Rain or Shine \nEvent includes: \n\nA Free “Kids Zone” including Milton’s Clipper Express train rides conducted by Milton Lions Club\, face painting\, kids crafts & coloring zone\, and kids-specific raffles.\nLocal Vendors\nRaffle Basket Auction\nButterfly/Pollinator Live Plants to purchase (butterfly bushes\, lantana’s\, etc.)\nAnd of course ending with the Live Butterfly release after the reading of all the honoree names\n\n9:00am – Park opens for Wings of Hope. Check in to pick-up your pre-purchased items or make new purchases. Then explore the park to enjoy kid’s activities\, shopping our vendors\, entering in raffle auctions and buying native pollinator plants to take home. \n10:30am – Wings of Hope Ceremony Begins \n11:15am* – Live butterfly distribution (we will distribute the live butterflies at this time during the ceremony) \n11:30am* – Reading of the honoree names followed by the Butterfly Release and the singing of Wind Beneath My Wings \n(*times are approximate) \nTips for the day\nPre-purchase your butterflies\, t-shirts\, and raffles now at the link above. \nYou can make purchases at the event\, but quantities may be limited for butterflies and t-shirts. Credit cards will be accepted but cash is always best the day of the event due to potential technical difficulties. \nBring chairs – some seating is available but best to have your own chair if you need one \nBring an umbrella and rain boots. DESCRIPTION:Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE) is pleased to announce the return of our Annual Crush Out Cancer Weekend! In 2025\, we raised over $9\,000 with the help of our amazing community partners! This year\, our goal is $10\,000! Can YOU help us crush our goal? \nSAVE THE DATE! Saturday\, June 6th and Sunday\, June 7th – We request restaurants statewide to join us to kick off our celebration supporting the MANY survivors within our community. We ask the community to visit your favorite local watering holes to exceed our goal! \nWhat is Crush Out Cancer again?  This widely popular fundraiser unites restaurants and individuals statewide on the first weekend of June to observe National Cancer Survivors Day.
