Job Title: Cancer Support Community Delaware, Community Liaison for Kent County Office, Part-Time

Reports to: Executive Director

 

General Function

The Community Liaison is charged with assisting the Executive Director  in the administration of the daily operations of the Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE):  Kent County Office.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  1. Outreach and Marketing: Creates and enhances awareness of CSCDE and its mission through targeted outreach, marketing and media activities, presentations and exhibits.
  2. Administration: Organizes and directs all administrative and program support functions related to the day-to-day operations of the Kent County  office.
  3. Fundraising and Special Events: Oversee planning, organizing, executing and evaluating all fundraising and special events in Kent County.
  4. Finance: Ensures that CSCDE is operated within the annual budget established by the Board.

Understands Development needs and functions of Cancer Support Community DE.

Excellent organizational abilities; especially ability to prioritize and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Computer competency in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

 

A minimum of 3-5 years of proven development/fundraising experience in the non-profit field.
